 The Miami Heat downed the San Antonio Spurs, 95-88, in GAme 7 of their best-of-seven championship series to bag their second straight NBA title at the America Airlines Arena.

LeBron James scored 37 points and hauled down 12 rebounds and was later named Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP). Dwyane Wade added 23, while Shane Battier came off the bench to chip in 18, all coming on three-pointers.

Tim Duncan had 24 points for the Spurs, but missed a crucial hook shot and tip-in in the last minute which would have tied the game.
